Roberto Cappa, born on 11th November 1976 in Madrid, shows a great interest in music early in life, having been a self-taught musician up till the present moment. After being part of several bands of different music styles, he founds Ánima Sola.
Ánima Sola record their first album, “Luna de Argel”, in 2004 receiving superb reviews from specialised press. In 2006, he co-founds progressive metal band Delyriüm.
Roberto becomes part of the Madrid-born band Dark Moor in November 2006, performing in Latin America (Santiago de Chile, Peru and Brazil).
In August 2008, he records Dark Moor’s new album “Autumnal” at Luigi Estefanini’s New Sin studios in Italy under his production. At the same time, Roberto starts giving private drums tuition. In September 2009, he becomes drums teacher at the Yamaha Music School, combining it with other bands’ studio and live recordings.
In 2010, he tours with the Madrilenian band around Russia, Czech Republic, France and Portugal, and they record their album “Ancestral Romance”.
In September 2011, he starts as the drummer of the hardcore band Inntrance, with whom he tours presenting their second album “Impío”.
In 2012, his band Delyriüm wins Memorial Alberto Cano in Albacete, thus recording their first album “Quaerens Utopiam”.
In January 2013, he records Dark Moor’s latest album, “Ars Música”. During this year, they will be presenting this album in Mexico, China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Russia, Czech Republic, Italy and Spain.
